马文·卡尔森教授
PROFESSOR MARVIN CARLSON
马文·卡尔森，西德尼·E·科恩戏剧研究主席，拥有康奈尔大学的戏剧文本和戏剧博士学位。他广泛的研究和教学兴趣包括戏剧理论和西欧戏剧史、戏剧文学和翻译，特别是18、19和20世纪的文学。
他曾获得ATHE职业成就奖、乔治·让·内森奖、伯纳德·休伊特奖、乔治·弗里德利奖和古根海姆奖学金。他曾是华盛顿大学的沃克-艾姆斯教授，印第安纳大学高级研究所的研究员，柏林弗雷大学的客座教授，以及美国戏剧协会的研究员。2005年，他被雅典大学授予荣誉博士学位。他最著名的著作《戏剧理论》（1993年）已被翻译成八种语言。他在2001年出版的书《闹鬼的舞台》获得了卡洛韦奖。2022年，他当选为艺术与科学院院士。
